If you are going to get up at 5.45am to watch the sunrise, you may as well do it on the most easterly mainland beach in Australia and be one of the first in the whole country to see it. Luckily for us, that beach happens to be metres from our caravan, so I stumbled down bleary eyed in my pjs to take it all in.
