1. MONDAY 17 OCTOBER 2011 The promised rain materialised today, so we ventured away from the beach and into the hinterland behind Byron for a few hours. There are some beautiful spots just a few kms from Byron (the beach is just in the distance of this shot, hidden behind the mist) - there were plenty of houses we could easily have snapped up, once we scrape together the required couple of million dollars from down behind the couch….
