1. SATURDAY 1 - TUESDAY 4 OCTOBER 2011 Rainbow Beach, just north of Noosa. Nice spot to spend a couple of days, spotting whales and testing out the 4WD on the beach for the first time. We had barge tickets to go across to Fraser Island from here, but most of the access tracks were closed due to a still burning bushfire, so we decided not to go this time. Something else to add to our list for a return visit - it keeps getting longer!
